Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Robbie is an 8yr old pom that was left out in the cold sick and alone. He has come a long way and appears to be feeling great. He has been vetted and even had his smile polished up. Robbie is a super sweet fellow who loves to cuddle and follow you around to see if you need help with anything. He bonds quickly and will never leave you to be alone. Robbie would do best with no other dogs though because he is protective of his food and can be jealous of other dogs around his person(s). Given this we feel for his safety it would be best that he go to home with no other dogs, and adults only. He would be fine with preteen and up in the children category. He needs to be placed with a single person or a couple who are able to spend most of their time with him or take him with them. He loves to go in the car and everywhere you can take him. He is not happy being left at home alone and without his person. The current foster mom takes him to doggie daycare while she is at work and he goes with her everywhere else-like trips to the park and to her manicure appointments. He is very well-behaved and loves all the attention he gets from people. Robbie will be on twice a day thyroid medication for the rest of his life and is currently being treated for severe allergies, an ear infection and a paw skin infection all of which should be cleared up with treatment. He is an easy patient and we look forward to seeing Robbie healthy and happy in his forever home. Please consider giving a most deserving fellow a chance at a real life and home.
