My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Icky is icky no more! this little boy came to us from the Joplin shelter to make room for the storm dogs. He was matted, his black hair bleached brown and he just felt icky. He has since since the vet and found to have blocked tear ducts, he was treated, put on medication, brought current on shots and started on heartworm and flea prevention. He then saw the groomer where he got the full spa treatment. Icky looks like a new dog! He is a little shy and needs some time to heal. Once he is feeling better he will be neutered and be ready for placement. Once his foster home learns more about his personality, we will update his profile.

Icky has been in his foster home for a week. He is a little shy but is doing great. He is completely potty trained and has no accidents at all. He likes to sleep in his crate, and he has grown to enjoy his boxer sister, Daisy. He is affraid of cats, but will not hurt them. He is a morning puppy, he talks in the mornings when he comes out of his crate and acts super excited to run outside and play. He enjoys following the kids around but is a little hesitant on interacting just yet.

Icky is doing great with his fur brother and sister. Icky enjoys treats but is a little leary of taking them from your hand. He likes to places in the car, and is beginning to like taking a bath.
