HUNTER- new in rescue 6 months old, and HUGE- he is going to be a VERY BIG dog. he is also a HEAVY dog.
He is LOVING, AFFECTIONATE, and REALLY LOVES to be with you.. he is a velcro dog. he likes kisses and attention, he is doing well with the dog they have , and was fine with the cats at my home. and the dogs at my home from toy to X large size. He takes a bit of time to adjust to change, as he gets nervous when he is moved - we will be VERY careful to make sure he gets the PERFECT home so he never has to be re homed again, he bonds deeply with his loved ones.
He has been crate trained , he is getting better leash skills as he CAN pull , so we will be teaching him better leash manners and how to "heel" We really have NO IDEA what mix this beauty is .. well his coloring is not a normal brindle and his face if he had erect ears looks like a dutch shepherd... he ACTS like a dutch shepherd.. he has the coat of a BORZOI.. and the roach back of a borzoi - I sent his pictures to some Borzoi fanciers and they all agree this dog HAS Borzoi in him. he is REALLY pretty. I predict at full maturity this beauty will be about 100 lbs ( or even a tad more) - and VERY tall- he is HUGE now , and only a baby still . BUT he has no malice in him, he is gentle- and sweet , we have seen not a bit of any form of aggression from him even under stress, he is a REALLY NICE big dog. he would be GREAT to cuddle up with on the sofa - his coat is so flugffy and soft its longer on top and wavey and his face is smooth, I cannot even describe this dogs colorings , he is a brindle BUT with so many hues of golds , Reds, and shades of browns, and streaks of black, its stunning - in the bright light or in the sun? its VERY unusual and GORGEOUS. his face to his crown of his head is smooth and all black- the fluff starts at the crown of his head & ears. As we get to know Hunter better we will add more info to his BIO. we will also get MUCH better pictures - these were taken the day we got him from the shelter- it was dark and he was scared .. BUT we will get better ones that show his beauty. Hunter Requires a fully fenced yard, NO E FENCES please dont ask.
Hunter is neutered, micro chipped , UTD on shots , wormed & HW NEG. Adoption fee with approved application & care contract $150.00 apply today you and your OLDER kids will really ENJOY having this love bug in the family. we would prefer a family with a stay at home parent and OLDER kids ( 8 YRS OLD and up please) even another dog, as Hunter is not crazy about being alone , he gets lonely. HE LOVES DOGS!! and will do better in a home that HAS a nice well mannered dog in it.
