You may meet and apply to adopt Barry at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, JULY 31st from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH.
Barry is a small 6 pound Yorkie mix puppy only 5 months old. He is very playful and loves to chase toys and bring them back. Barry is adorable and bounces up and down when he gets excited. He also smiles and waves his little paw making him simply irresistible! He loves other dogs and wants them to play with him also. He is very content to cuddle with you as long as he can be stroked endlessly. Barry has a rather darling habit of gathering his toys and stuffed animals and piling them up on his bed. He loves walks and wants to be the leader and in front of everyone else. Barry came to us from the shelter where he was brought in extremely scared and traumatized with a strange wound on his back that looked like a dog bite or some sort of deep puncture. After a week of vet visits, medication, and no results, we finally decided to do exploratory surgery. Imagine our surprise (and our vet's) when we removed a giant two inch foxtail weed completely buried in poor Barry's back. He is completely recovered now, so much happier and definitely more comfortable. Barry is such an incredibly loving dog despite his ordeal and he will give you snuggles and kisses to your heart's content. He is ready for a happier life in a safe forever home.
Barry's adoption donation is $400. He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Barry is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Melissa & Ward and is ready for his forever home.
