My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome boy is Pharoah. Although Pharoah believed he would live out his life with the people he grew to love with all of his heart, these same people decided that after nine years he just wasn't the kind of dog they had in mind:( In fact, his guardian dropped him off at a town shelter and claimed she found him running loose as a stray. Poor, sweet guy watched as the woman who raised him walked away from him - denying to shelter staff that she even knew him. One can only imagine how disheartened poor Pharoah felt at that moment.

Reportedly, Pharoah was "too mellow" for his guardian. None of us really know what that means, but after meeting this darling we can attest to his gentle ways and his forgiving heart. Despite the terrible betrayal, Pharoah is ready to love once again. Only this time, we will make sure that whoever adopts him really deserves him.

Pharoah is Black & White, about 45-50 pounds (he could stand to put on just a little weight), has one brown eye and one blue eye, and those eyes speak to your soul:) When his advocate took him out of the shelter, he ran into her truck as if he knew she would take good care of him. Pharoah is trusting, innocent, affectionate, and yes, he is mellow.

If you'd like to meet this wonderful boy, contact Liz at HuskyRescue@optonlinet.net. Or, Mike at wolfrsq2@optonline.net. Adoption of Pharoah is contingent upon a completed application, a vet reference, and a home visit by Husky Rescue.
