My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vooda is a very, very sweet girl who just wants someone to love on her. She is a Dutch Shepherd/ German Shepherd mix. Supposedly she is out of one of the "great" dutch shepherd stud dogs in this country. She was originally purchased from a breeder to do Search and Rescue. At about 9 months old, she was taken to a vet because the owner thought she may have hip issues. Instead of paying for diagnostics, the owner choose to euthanize. A technician at the clinic adopted her instead and contacted NADSR.

Vooda has been x-rays from head to toe (literally) and there are no structural issues. Her x-rays are digital and will be emailed to her new owner's veterinarian. Vooda is very social with all dogs and cats. She loves to have something in her mouth but does not possess enough confidence to be a police dog. She is just a big love bug.

Vooda is primarily black with a thick German Shepherd coat. She does have some brindling on her legs. She weighs approximately 55-60 pounds.

Vooda is located in TN, but we do adopt out nationally. 1 Year old, She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines and free of heartworm and intestinal parasites.
