Missy's Story...
MIssy is the most gentle, docile dog of all. She is shy and has no concept of dominance. She is so excessively submissive with any other animals, Dogs of either sex, cats, rabbits, birds, anything! So she is perfectly suited for a multi animal household. Totally housetrained and one who does not make a peep of a sound whether left alone or wit hother animals, Missy is perfect for an apartment as there is no fear she would disturb neighbors. Missy has no chewing or any other issues, unless you consider being very, very gentle and shy an issue. If she does have an issue it is that she does jump fences so she must never be let loose in a dog run or anywhere or she will run away. She is soooooooo sweet!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Forest Hills German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Forest Hills, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Forest Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forest Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forest Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forest Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
