My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

08/03/2011: Casey is recovering nicely form his neuter and dental. We knew his teeth were bad, but we were a little sad to learn that 16 of his teeth had to be removed. He is doing well - he thanks everyone for their well wishes.

07/29/2011: Casey is an 8 year old sweetheart who was pulled from a breeder who was "disposing" of their breeding stock. He wants nothing more than for human touch and to be appreciated for the wise old soul he is. He is unflappable - perfect with dogs, cats and children. We were surprised to see how beautiful his coat was once we got him a good grooming (the groomers love him, too!). This little man is intact but will be neutered and receive a dental cleaning within the next week. His initial inclination was to try to lift his leg in the house, but a couple of days wearing a belly band has shown him the going potty outside is much funner and more interesting (his neuter will help this, too). He sleeps throughout the night, is quiet in his crate, and has only barked once when he saw a crow sitting on our deck railing. There is no sweeter pooch out there. Please consider giving him his forever home. (Updated photos coming soon!)
