THIS ADORABLE SENIOR NEEDS A FOSTER HOME.
After a lifetime living with her family and being a faithful and loving pet, Trixie now has to find a new home. Her family regretfully gave her up when their work schedules and commitments changed.
Trixie has had no shots and is not spayed. All this will soon change. She started her new life by getting a lovely bath and with some cream rinse, we were able to comb out her coat (she could use a visit with the groomer) and she looks quite adorable. Trixie, a lovely YorkiePoo, weighs about 10 pounds and will make a wonderful lapdog. She already wags her tail to greet her foster mom and seems to like people, at least adults and calm children. We were told she was mostly housebroken. She will likely remember her P's and Q's once on a regular routine. She went to the door and when we took her outside, she immediately took care of her bathroom needs, then trotted along, happily wagging her tail, content that she was allowed and able to handle her duties outside.
In her old home, she went off-lead all the time, but we wouldn't suggest this until she is well bonded with her new family. We were told that she once ran away from her baby sitter and worked her way home. A very loyal and determined little girl.
She has already been introduced to her fostermates, and she acts nicely with the others, checking them out and allowing herself to be checked out in a comfortable and confident manner. We just adore our little newcomer and so will you.
