My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arby is 5.5 and is a blue male weim who is

Arby lives in a residential neighborhood and he hangs out in a fenced-in yard. Arby had a "brother" - another weim - that he lost about 2 years ago. Arbys mom is downsizing to a patio home--and this is the reason for Arbys coming in rescue.

Arby is a healthy, very energetic dog. He has a good understanding of his limited vocabulary: sit, down, stay, come, out, toy, bed and NO. He is very loyal and will follow you everywhere (typical weimaraner) --if not for the distraction of other animals outdoors you could walk him without a leash. He loves to play catch/fetch with toys and likes to chew SUPER Kongs (any other toy he destroys). He does not chew shoes, furniture, etc. or destroy household items--he would chew kids small toys left around.

Arby is not agressive, in fact he would like to be a lap dog (typical weimaraner) - but he is very strong and knocks into people when excited - this needs to be monitored if small children are in the house as he will knock them down. (typical weim)

Arby has too much energy for his familys current life style. Weims need a LOT of ecercise, and Arby is no exception.

Arby signals (barks) to go out and barks to come in and barks when he needs water or is hungry--and then he barks at squirrels, birds, other dogs, people walking by the house.........he barks a lot, but the more activity he gets-the less he barks.

Anyone who understands the energy of the breed and is interested in weims would love this dog. Please e-mail jen at wujenj14@hotmail.com for an application!
