My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

7-15-07 Diego heads to his new home in AB. Enjoy your new home and sister little fellow!

6-20-07 Maria chose a home for herself today. She actually got in her new mom's purse and took a nap. She wanted to be sure she was not left behind when she left.

Partial Vet fees paid by "Heather and her wonderful yard sale fund raiser for SDHR"!

Wonderful adult/senior pair!
"Diego & Maria" are a male/female bonded mini Dachshund pair, 8 & 10 pounds, altered, crate and house trained, shots current and must be adopted together. After their dental what teeth they each have left are clean and shiny. Both dogs have oronasal fistulas that will take time to heal and are currently eating a 'mush' meal but once healed, both dogs should be able to eat kibble just fine as long as it is tiny bites.

Their owner said they were 5 & 6 years old but the Vet thought they might be older, maybe up to 8 to 10 years old. Whatever their actual age, they still have a long, healthy life ahead of them to share with just the right home. These dogs are happy, tail wagging, quiet, cuddly little dogs and need a home where they can get all the love and attention they so crave. If you are up to a pair of mini Dachshunds, check out this sweet pair and see if they are right for your lap!
