Foster's Story...

Fostering is the very foundation of our organization. Without the generous foster families who open their homes to a dog in need, we would not be successful at saving so many dogs

We take into account your home environment and schedule when matching you with a foster dog. The rescue provides all the supplies and services required to care for your new temporary family member.

If you live in or near the Rochester and Buffalo Niagara region please consider fostering. If interested please contact us and fill out our

Foster Application

- Thousands of dogs are dumped in shelters worldwide every year. We can't save them all, but the more foster homes we have, the more we can save. You can help us make that happen.

- Don't want to adopt? When you foster you can help a huge heaping of dogs a year be saved from possible euthanasia and find a new forever home!

- All you need to do is provide a loving warm home and environment with lots of affection for them. BDBH's provides all veterinary care, donated food when available, and all the advice we can give you to help you with your fosters.

- Meet and greets provide a great way to meet families looking to adopt and great socialization for your foster dogs!!
