My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella is a 2-3 year old female pit bull. She is spayed and UTD on vaccines. She was adopted from our vet's office over a year ago; unfortunately Monday morning she was returned after the family that adopted her bought another dog (including her they had 4). Bella had always been very timid and very shy. She can frighten easily around people and in new situations. The family that adopted her had small kids. they weren't monitoring Bella and one of their little girls Sunday afternoon. One of the little girls hit Bella with a toy while she was sleeping, which startled her and she consequently nipped the little girl in the face. She didn't intend to injure the child, and the family understands that.

Bella had already been stressed by the addition of a new dog, and now she has found herself back in the very same kennel she was in over a year ago. She is lonely, confused, and scared, which is causing her to shut down because of the mental and physical stress. She would do so much better in a quiet foster home, where she could relax peacefully.
