My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ohana is a RUFF dog who was adopted several years ago by a senior couple. It was love at first sight for her & for them. They started a happy new life together. A year or so ago, her adoptive dad passed away. She & her adoptive mother missed him terribly but they kept each other company as they continued their lives together. Until a July day when Ohana's mom left to go to the grocery store & never came home again. She was hit by a car in the grocery store parking lot and sadly did not survive her injuries. Ohana was in the home with the cats she lived with for 2 days - how scary & confusing not to have anyone come home and care for them for those 2 days! Then neighbors remembered there were animals in the house and they were saved and Ohana returned to RUFF. No one can communicate to Ohana why her mom didn't come home or why she is a kennel dog again.
