My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Rolph. I`m fresh out a Bennett Cerf book! As you can see, I have unusual white and black markings, but what you can`t see is how soft and fluffy my hair is and how velvety my tongue is when I give you big sloppy kisses. I love to be hugged and I give big ol hugs back to you. That`s the one great thing about us larger sized dogs, the bigger the dog, the bigger the hug! I'm full grown and about 4 years young now. I am very eager to please and would benefit from someone to take time with me and train me. I love to play and take walks on the trail. I also like being read to and I'm a very good listener, just happy to have your attention. The one thing I don`t like is people getting into my food, so the kids will have to have their own bowls. I`d probably do best in a home with older kids or adults. Other than that, I'm a joy. I would probably prefer to be the only dog in a home too. If you have another dog, we suggest you bring your dog to be sure we are compatible. I`d love to find a person or family who`s a friendly and cuddly as I am. I have been waiting so patiently to be discovered, I know there is a special person or family waiting for me.
