Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daisy was found as a stray. She will be about 11lbs when she looses a few lbs, and is currently 14lbs. She is a longhair who had a wirehair parent (see her face). She is very sweet and loving, and loves to follow you around. She is good with other dogs, great with cats, and excellent with everyone- including children. Her "special need" is her Cushings Disease, where the adrenal gland has a slight blockage therefore secreting too much cortisol; she is now on meds to correct this overproduction and they are working perfectly. The meds are given once daily, an oral liquid dose.
When inquiring about a dog please let us know where you are located (local adoptions only), if you have had previous Dachshund experience, if you have a fenced in yard, about your work hours, about your family - including pets, if you or anyone in your household smoke, and what you are looking for in your adopted dog.
