BARNEY is a happy handsome young fellow - some blend of hound and shepherd we think. He was left at the shelter by his family that was too busy for him. He knows his commands - sit, stay, lie down, shake - SEE THE VIDEO - so he's bright and eager to learn even more. He is full of energy - and loves to race beside me on a bike - and he is sooooo fast. He plays ball by himself- throwing it in the air and chasing it - or will bring it right back to your feet. Barney will be happiest with an active household - full of walks and games and toys to keep him busy. He is gentle with children and very affectionate - it doesn't take much time before he is on his back telling you its belly rub time. He's a perfect co-pilot in the car - very calm and quiet.
