Registered Name: Yukon Saskatoon Call Name: Dusty Birth Date: September 13, 2000 Color: Fawn. Dusty is a sweet, gentle, and easy going senior greyhound. He has been in a pet home for many years, so he is already completely home acclimated. He walks very nicely on a leash, has excellent house manners, and rides well in a car. We recently rescued Dusty after he had been dropped off at an animal shelter by his former owners. Like a lot of unfortunate pets in these tough economic times, Dusty and his housemate, Jasmine (also available for adoption), were turned in because his owners could no longer afford to take care of him. Dusty is a very pretty light lemon fawn, has a beautiful face, and is small for a greyhound boy at just 61 lbs. He does need to gain a couple of pounds to be at a good weight, and he appears to have a little arthritis, so we have started him on a glucosamine supplement. Dusty gets along fine with all dogs, including small dogs and cats. He is gentle and calm and would do well in a home with well-mannered children. Dusty is a lovely dog that deserves a good home for his retirement. Since he is over the age of 10, we are not asking for an adoption fee for Dusty, just a donation to help with his medical expenses. Dusty is neutered, has all vaccines, had his teeth cleaned, and is microchipped. He comes with a collar and leash, adoption guide, grooming mitt, a stuffie toy, and an adopt-a-greyhound tote bag.
