CHAMP IS LOOKING FOR A FOSTER HOME!!
Champ is something special. Based on his wonderful temperament, as well as his noble appearance, we think there’s some Great Dane in Champ’s mix. He is extremely affectionate and follows you all around the house, settling down immediately by your side wherever you go (after thoroughly licking your face that is).
He is the kind of dog who would be happy in virtually any setting. He loves to play but is also content to lie around the house dozing. Champ is an excellent walking companion. Occasionally a squirrel will get his attention but a firm word puts his eyes right back on the road.
Intelligent and attentive, Champ is amazingly responsive. He can be regal and imposing or a clown, depending on his person’s mood. If you don’t want to play, he stops immediately. If he’s sleeping and you want to go for a walk, he’s up for it.
Champ is great with the other dogs he’s met so far. He’s spent the most time with a small, female to whom he defers (including letting her eat his food). He has the manners of a gentleman when taking treats, waiting nicely and then gently nibbling out of your hand. He enjoys his toys and is not destructive.
He is also great with all the people he has met regardless of age or gender. Champ is completely housetrained and a loyal, fun, friendly companion.
