My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Susie is one of 4 Beagles that joined the Safe Hounds rescue family after the SPCA seized a total of 14 dogs from a backyard breeder because of neglect. She is approx. 5 yrs. old and has probably spent most of those years living outside in a pen that resembled a rabbit hutch. Susie doesn't completely understand about house rules yet, but we've already started teaching her the basics and she is now crate trained. She is up to date on routine vaccinations, heartworm neg. (on monthly preventative) and already spayed. Susie is a very sweet and affectionate girl who has probably never know what it feels like to have a caring human love her. She is a little shy but really enjoys attention and loves to be petted. She will need someone with a kind heart and patience to reassure her and to show her the good life.
