Are you looking for a smart, fun-loving pup? Then Pippin is the girl for you. Pippin is a 5 month old Shepherd/Lab mix weighing in at 37 lbs!! She will be a big girl when fully grown. This sweet girl was found roaming the country roads alone just before dark. After several weeks no one came forward to claim this sweet girl.
Considering how Pippin was found she has no trust issues towards people and dogs alike. Pippin is a very happy-go-lucky type of dog, tail always wagging happily, playful and affectionate with everyone she encounters. She gets along famously with all her foster-brothers, and has shown no socialization issues. Pippin is constantly looking for companionship in the form of playing and running together, so perhaps a home with another furry friend will benefit her social tendencies.
Pippin is a young girl and will need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation to keep her out of trouble. Pippin has learned to sit before going out the door and before coming back in the house. She is crate trained and we're working on her house training. She will let you know when she needs to go out and potty while in her crate at night. Pippin has a fantastic recall and will not stray very far from where you are. Pippin has shown that she is a very smart girl, learns quickly and eager to please. She would need some positive direction to continue shaping her into a well-mannered dog.
