2-4-07 Trooper is an Awesome Boy! I love this dog very much and it is going to be a very sad and happy time both when he goes to the lucky family to adopt him. We are so fortunate to have been able to take Trooper in when he needed us the most. When he first arrived he was Very thin and full of Hook worms! This boy was left outside in his feces without adequate food, water and shelter. We were prepared to have our hands full with training him due to his previous living environment. Boy were we surprised ! He has yet to have 1 potty accident in the house or crate. He walks well on a leash and has learned sit very easily. He loves the other dogs and has shown NO Human or people aggression at all. Surprisingly enough as emaciated he was he has yet to show any food aggression either with myself or his other fury friends he hangs out with here. To this date he has yet to show any interest in our cat. He is truly a Super Sweet Boy! Although we ourselves do not have any human children he has been around another volunteers 8 year old daughter and their 15 year old son and he seem to really like the little kids. This boy deserves the best if you are interested in offering him a safe loving forever home please email for more information. 1-27-07 This "Trooper" was saved from a mess to say the least this afternoon. As you can tell he needs a lot of love and a lot of food. More information to come very soon!!
