Big boy comin’ through! Brutus is Prince Charming…with a little more hair and a little more slobber, especially after a trip to the water bowl… Bigger is better right? Does it get any bigger or better then a big cuddly Saint Bernard? Sadly Brutus has lost some weight due to the stress of being in a shelter. He should easily gain the weight back once settled in a new home. We’d like to see him closer to 125lbs. He has a good appetite and that mushy face unwrinkled so you can see his big brown eyes when food is mentioned…it shouldn’t be too hard to convince him to gain a little. Brutus is a great guy, he’s pretty mellow and easy going, nicely mannered and easy to have around the house. He likes to be outside with his people or indoors relaxing – where ever the family is at is where he should be. He gets along with other dogs, he is fine with respectful kids of any age however due to his XLarge size we prefer to find him a home with no small kids under 6yrs, he is fine with felines. Brutus is a pretty mellow dog as most Saints are by this age. It is important that Brutus new owner has properly researched the breed BEFORE APPLYING. He is a healthy boy but Saints being the size they are sometimes come with more needs then the average breed. Brutus likes a daily walk, or a few shorter daily walks and just generally enjoys spending time outside with his family. We’d like to find him a house with a fenced yard.
