IN ORDER FOR US TO BRING SWEET PEA UP FROM ARKANSAS, SHE IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF A FOSTER HOME!!

This beautiful girl came to our Arkansas volunteers after having a litter of puppies, but her puppies weren't with her, so we don't know what happened to them (she is a young momma, only about two years old). She had a terrible case of mange, and due to the mange, had almost no hair. In short, this sweet and beautiful girl was in rough shape.

With TLC, medicine and a safe shelter to heal, the pretty girl within was able to emerge and she is now a lovable and playful pup. She loves running all over the place with her foster dog pals.

Sweet Pea also had cataracts. Due to a concerted effort between residents of Arkansas and New Jersey, we were able to raise enough funds to get her the surgery she needed, and she is currently recovering! This is one special girl who has had a very rough start of it, but shhh, don't tell her - she doesn't seem to notice! She would be a great dog even for a first time dog owner. She is very easy to care for - fully house broken, crate trained and good with kids and cats. And this little lady is also fully grown at 30 pounds.

It would be nice to have a fenced yard and a doggie playmate as she loves nothing better than to be outside running and playing with friends. She is a real loving dog who will gladly flop over for a belly rub at any time and brings smiles wherever she goes. She is ready for transport from Arkansas now, and needs a foster home when she lands, or an adoptive home - if you think there is room for a little Sweet Pea in your life, please let us know!

Check the events page on our website for more information and directions to our adoption events.
