Bear's Story...
Sweet Bear is a five years old chocolate lab. When we rescued him he was heartworm positive so we had him treated at our vet and he is now cured and Heartworm free! Bear loves everyone he meets and is very outgoing and very sweet. Bear likes to lay on the couch and he has very good house manners. Bear is housebroken and he loves indoors. Bear was rescued with two other dogs (Lady and Little bit her daughter) from a 10X10 pen where they were all living and inside was a large stock tank turned upside down for shelter so they all had very little room to walk around. Bear now loves walking in our 2 acre fenced yard and he is so happy (his tail goes all the time!!!). Bear loves other dogs and he loves children. He is untested with cats. Please open your heart and give Bear a chance at a wonderful new home with your family.(Clay)BR>http://www.poochesonthemove.net/warren-county-rescue.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Spring Valley Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
