My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abbie is a 17 pound very young 9 year old and a really great little lady with personality. Loves to play ball. She gets along with other dogs, but will let them know if she doesn’t like something that is going on. She had a back operation years ago, so her coordination and strength in her rear legs is a little off. She needs a home with no children where she can be let out into a fenced yard 3-4 times a day. She is house broken, but still needs help to get her out in time. She can climb stairs, but very slowly. She needs to exercise her rear leg muscles so she doesn’t loose strength. She has been spayed and has all her shots.
Abbie definitely knows where the dog biscuits are located and will try to convince you that she deserves one. She sleeps in an X-pen overnight or when there is no one in the house. Although she would prefer to sleep with her master. When she gets used to you she will want to sit in your lap when you watch TV. She was raised with her pal Scooby Do (see listing), and is quite attached to him. We think it would be in her best interest if she was adopted with Scooby.
