Phoebe went to the doggy beauty shop and she really is cute now, she looks like a Poodle!!!

Listed 10-16-11 I know, she is a Poodle and we are a Chihuahua rescue, but she needed us, and that's what rescue is all about!
She is 7 years old, Apricot color, and in these pictures, needing a hair cut....... she weighs 6 pounds, and is so loving! She has lived her entire life with a couple, who unfortunately could not care for her any longer due to illness and age. They took very good care of her so she was spayed and on heartworm prevention. We had her teeth cleaned, and brought vaccines up to date. we also did some blood work and a thyroid test because she has thin hair on her back end. She is now on thyroid medicine, so we wil see if that help get the hair back. But you know what, if it doesn'y come in, she is still as cute as she can be!! she loves to be held and brushed and follows me all around the house. She likes to sleep with me too.
She holds her ears out, so she looks like she has airplane wings !
She goes to the groomer on Tues. October 18th.
Her adoption fee is $100.00
Please note, we do not adopt to families with children under the age of 10 years old AND we require a securely fenced yard.........
