My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Crystal Grace! She's a purebred Chocolate Lab, about 4 years old, and a tall and lean 75 lbs. She was rescued from a NW Missouri puppy mill in September 2010, along with her 4 week old puppies. The puppies have been adopted and Crystal is waiting for her forever home.
Unlike most mill dogs, Crystal enjoys interacting with people. She loves to lay near you and rest her head on your lap. Her soft, soulful eyes are sure to melt your heart, and this precious girl is even sweeter than her face would lead you to believe!
She is a great leash-walker and loves to go for walks. She prefers not to do her business on a leash and must have a fenced yard to potty. She needs a 5ft or higher fence because she can jump a 4ft.
She loves to play with other dogs and needs at least one other dog to keep her company when the family leaves. If left completely alone (without another dog) she becomes very anxious and breaks out of her crate. She is cratetrained but not completely housetrained.
Crystal might be okay with cats but has not been tested. She has been okay with children 5 and up.

Crystal is spayed, fully vaccinated (including bordetella and canine influenza), microchipped, de-wormed, fecal checked negative, heartworm tested negative, kept on monthly heartworm prevention and given seasonal flea/tick prevention.
Her adoption fee is 200.
5ft (or higher) fenced yard required- no exceptions.
See other adoption requirements below.
