My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lindsay!
She is a 7 year old "Labradoodle" weighing 50 lbs. She has the Lab-type hair and does shed, so she is not suitable for allergy sufferers.
Lindsay was rescued from a puppy mill auction- where breeders sell their unwanted puppies and dogs to other breeders (or rescuers when they are present). She came with her brother Linus who is a slightly larger 55 lbs. They were rescued at 7 months and have never been separated and would prefer to be adopted together. They take comfort in cuddling against each other when they are stressed and afraid but are actually more willing to interact and socialize with new people if they are on their own.
Lindsay is still shy around new people but prefers women to most men or children. She is not as afraid of children as some puppy mill dogs are and would be okay with well behaved children who are at least 5 years old but older children are preferred.
She loves other dogs and loves to romp and play with them in the yard.
She is not completely housetrained but is cratetrained and would prefer to be left in a crate when no one is home. A crate is her "safe place" and access to it when she is stressed or afraid is a necessity for her. She gets along great with her brother and frequently wants to share a very large crate with him but is just as happy being crated right next to him.
Lindsay does have a partial cateract in her left eye, but she gets around fine and no medical intervention is necessary.

Lindsay has been spayed, fully vaccinated (including bordetella and canine influenza), microchipped, de-wormed, fecal checked negative, heartworm tested negative, kept on monthly heartworm prevention and given seasonal flea/tick prevention.
Her adoption fee is 100.
Fenced Yard Required- no exceptions. Other adoption requirements are listed below.
