Hello, my name is Lacey. I am a 7 year old spayed female. I am good with other dogs but can be assertive at first and will correct any dogs that are annoying me. But to be honest, I have been corrected by a much smaller dog and did not fight back so I am not overly dominant. I’m not a big fan of cats though, I like dogs better. I love my crate and lots of times I like to go in there on my own and relax. It’s my safe place and I always have bones and toys in there too so it’s not boring. I’m also house trained and know that I’m supposed to take care of business outside. I love to go on walks and am pretty good on a leash but I love to sniff around so I like nice, long leisurely walks where I can take my time and smell everything! When I see other dogs on my walk, I do get excited and want to meet them so I pull even though I know I’m not supposed to. I like to meet new people especially if they give me love. One of my favorite things in the world is belly rubs! I will roll over for you in a second if I know you will give me a belly rub because they are simply the best! I also like to roll around on the dog bed and act silly to make my foster mom laugh. I love to get lots of love and attention and give kisses in return to let you know I love you too!
My foster brother taught me how to play so we run around the yard and play together. And now that Kingston is living with me too, I’m so happy that I have two boys to run and play with. I like to wrestle a lot with Kingston especially, and even though he is bigger than me, I can still keep him in line! I play with toys and I really like the ones that I can use to play tug-a-war with Kingston. Hanging out with the young boys here has made me a playful, fun loving girl. But I also like to kick back and relax too. When my foster mom is working at her desk, sometimes I would just lay at her feet so she knows I’m there for her when she needs me. I also like to lay on the couch and watch tv after dinnertime. I’m a sweet gal who will be loyal and faithful to you forever so please consider me as your next dog!
