My story

Meet Elmo!! He’s a darling, and very handsome 3 year old pitbull terrier mix who is coming to us from a shelter in Grass Valley where this poor boy was found roaming around all alone. Luckily, he has a fan club and is a shelter favorite and everyone wants to see this boy in a forever home! (He is about 50lbs. )

Elmo is quite the charmer, and a loving, easy going guy. He gets along well with other dogs and LOVES his people- Elmo is wiggly boy, who wants nothing more than to be loved. This sweet boy has been at the shelter too long and is ready for that forever home! Elmo is nuetered, has all shots, microchipped and heartworm negative.

Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! Adopters must complete a questionnaire, personal interview and home visit prior to adopting a Rocket Dog. There is a non-refundable $240.00 adoption fee which helps us defer the cost of spay/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping, food and medication (Rocket Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization and this fee enables us to continue rescuing and helping animals).
