Meet Diesel!
He's a solid black German Shepherd (except for a little bit of tan between his toes). He was born in March 2010 and is still very young and puppyish.
Diesel's first home was abusive and neglectful but he seems to harbor no resentment. He is friendly and social with people and other dogs both large and small. He is good with kids but hasn't been around kids under age 5 and hasn't been around cats either.
Typical of his young age and breed, he has a lot of energy and needs someone with the time to exercise him daily. Without sufficient exercise he will whine, bark and fuss. He also learned to jump a 4 ft fence but is not known to be a climber so a 6 ft fence of any type would be suitable but a privacy fence is preferred.
Diesel is enjoying his new life as an indoor pet with his foster family. He is already cratetrained and working on housetraining. He is full of personality and a very happy boy!
Diesel is neutered, fully vaccinated (including Bordetella), microchipped, dewormed, fecal checked negative, heartworm tested negative, kept on monthly heartworm prevention and given seasonal flea/tick prevention.
His adoption fee is 250.
Diesel is available in the Kansas City and surrounding areas of NW Missouri and Eastern Kansas. A 6 ft fence is required or an approved alternative for safe outdoor time. If you do not have a fence, please outline your plan for outdoor time in your initial email.
