"Hi, my name is Nutmeg! I am a super happy, playful, and small beagle mix! They found me at a high-kill shelter and my time was up, so Warm Hearts stepped in and saved me! The folks at the shelter say I'm quite the girl -- that it's amazing a pup who came out of such a sad situation can be so happy & optimistic! Nothing gets me down! I love other dogs and LOVELOVELOVE anyone who gives me some kind words, scratches, or yummy treats!"
Nutmeg is estimated to be about 2 years old. She is very small for a beagle - maybe 30 lbs. She has super long ears and eyelashes and is as pretty as you get! She is currently being treated for heartworm as her previous owners neglected her. We would love to find Nutmeg a safe, quite place to undergo her treatment... or better yet, a forever home! Nutmeg has a lot of energy and will be a WONDERFUL companion for another dog and an energetic family.
Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $200, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, microchip, FREE vet visit, discounted grooming, discounted training, and free boarding at our facility (as space permits)!
Shelter location: 550 Industrial Way, Suite D, Boynton Beach ~ Take Gateway Blvd west from I-95. Take a right at the first stoplight which is High Ridge Road. Take a right on Industrial Way and we are at the end of the street. :) You can come any day Tuesday-Sunday from 2-6 p.m. to meet our adoptables!
