Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lady is a pretty young girl, approx. 1 1/2 yrs. old. She was picked up as a stray and brought into a local shelter where she was never claimed by her owner. She was brought into rescue in hopes of finding her a new, caring home.
Lady needs a home with no other animals (dogs or cats) or children. She needs a VERY experienced owner who would be willing to provide her some training to resolve an issue called resource guarding. Lady is a very smart and sweet dog; but she becomes very protective of her person thus why she can not live with other animals or children. She seems to be OK with other adults. Lady would be a great dog for a single man or woman or a couple with no children and no other pets. She would make a great running or hiking companion for someone who likes to go to uncrowded areas. I would not suggest her going to a dog park.
Lady is spay, up to date on her vaccines, and microchipped.
If you are interested in meeting Lady and finding out more about her, please contact Robin at 602-501-1844 or email wannadoggy@cox.net. Lady will only be released to someone who will provide written proof that they have pre-enrolled her in behavior training classes. Lady's adoption donation will then be waived.
