My story

MISS AMNISTY DESERVES HER NAME IN EVERY TRUE SENSE OF THE WORD AMNESTY!

It was mid October when I was in the process of trying to get some assistance to rescue a few cats (Ms. Kitty) in a nearby little town. My acquaintance had then mentioned that she had spotted what she believed was a pure breed Persian in the parking lot of an Apt/Hotel complex a few times since mid August and that she did not seem to be in good condition. A few weeks past and she then past by again and saw her. She asked an old man if this was his cat and could she save it and he replied 'of course'. She called me frantic that this poor little cat's eye was in bad shape. We were able to get her to the vet a few days later.

Amnisty has been spayed. She was found to have a uterine infection, probably used for breeding purposes in an unclean environment or left to fend for herself & bred with strays outside who carry diseases. Her eye does have to be removed as it was found to be punctured.


Amnisty is an absolute love. She loves to look for you to come to her as soon as you come in. She wants to be petted and will lick you back. She is very quiet and gentle. After only a few days in a cage she has integrated into the room with 6 other cats with no problems.

This darling deserves your complete attention. All she wants is a loving companion and a warm bed and some good food. Will you be hers forever and give her the life she never had?

Thanks to some generous Cat Angels, Amnisty has had her surgery, March 14/07, and is acting normally now.
