My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Notes: Pippa, lab/Pointer/dalmation?, White with blue/black spots, Female, 5-6 years, 55#

Pippa is a beautiful dog, and we are not certain whether to attribute her beautiful spots to an English Pointer or a Dalmatian. At any rate, Pippa has earned on her own merit the highest marks for being a very sweet dog - she has held on all these months in hopes that she might have a home of her own, and in the meantime she has given encouragement and kindness to many younger dogs. We hope that Pippa may finally find the bond and the committed human relationship that will reward her patience and faith.

Pippa is what you would describe as a true rescue dog. Although not abused, she has had a rough time due to humans not taking proper care of her. Please read our home page to learn more about how Pippa came to need a home. click here to go to our website

As a result, we don't have a lot of details about how Pippa and how she is in everyday situations. However, we do know that she is a sweet girl, and we are sure that she was once someone's beloved pet.

Notes: Speckles, lab/harrier mix, Brown coat and white with speckles, spayed female, under 3 years, 45 pounds

Speckles has the most beautiful and expressive brown eyes, and a lithe and leggy body. Her coat is a warm, rich brown and dappled in areas with speckles that give her a look of a woodland creature touched by the sun. She is a very sweet and hopeful dog whose gentle and hopeful demeanor and kindliness have kept her going this long. She gets along very well with other dogs, and is still has faith that she will make it home.

As a result, we don't have a lot of details about Speckles and how she is in everyday situations. However, we do know that she is sweet, mild dog who has impressed us with her desire not just to be loved, but to love.
