This is Ruby. She is pretty girl with very gentle manners who will steal your heart. Ruby usually just sits back while everyone else gets attention, peering at you bashfully with loving eyes. When shes decides it is time, she joins in. She loves running around with toys in her mouth and likes to show you her treasure. She loves to snuggle and is a very good kisser. She would do great in a home where they have lots of time to shower her with attention and love. Ruby is a very smart girl. She waits very patiently in the kitchen when her foster mom is getting her food ready..then runs back to her cage when its ready to be served up! Ruby was born on 8/25/2011 and her mother was unable to care for her and her littermates due to her own poor care. With medical attention, good nutrition, and lots of love, her puppies have flourished. Ruby will be available for adoption on December 11, 2011 and is being fostered in Des Plaines, IL.
Please remember that puppies require a midday meal, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of playtime for the first several months. Make arrangements if needed to have someone visit midday, every day, if no one will be home.
To give them time to grow, we do not spay/neuter young puppies prior to adoption. However, it is required by law for all adopted dogs adopted from IL rescues and shelters to be altered. The cost of the surgery is included in the adoption fee if performed at a ROAR vet when the puppy is of proper age. Adopters may use their own vet at their own cost as long as proof of the surgery is provided by the due date.
Adoption Fee: $350 (includes deworming, microchip with free registration, age appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, 30 days of health insurance).Any donation above the adoption fee is appreciated and helps us continue to rescue dogs.
