My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Strawberry, a 1-year-old, or younger, Golden-Aussie mix, sports a unique coat of beautiful colors and distinctive markings. Her golden-green eyes make her absolutely stunning with her shiny, darker red coat. . . when reclining, she is quite a seductress. She is small in stature, but big on charm. She could be the sister of her foster puppy brother, also a Golden-Aussie mix. Strawberry bonds immediately, looking for love and affection; she is pure sweetness.

Strawberry does well with other dogs, having gradually worked her way into our pack of 5 dogs. She does well with cats too. , Strawberry is a "blank slate" -- ready for training and will benefit from doggy school with you.

Strawberry says:
"Oh, how much fun I am having. I love to run and run and run in crazy antics through the big, wide open snow field. I am such a good girl and stay close to my pack when off leash, here on the property. I just want to be part of everything. And dog parks are totally AWESOME. I run like the wind across the park to greet a new dog, and then I run back like the wind to re-join my pack.

And I am so excellent in my foster house. I have no interest in people's stuff. I don't bother anything -- well hardly anything . . . I do like to counter-surf, I am just curious. And I can do a pretty decent cat impersonation.

And I got down with the dog door thing right away. And toy box diving? You bet! Lots of chew things in there. I made myself at home, climbing up behind my foster mom on her chair just to snooze and snuggling into bed with my foster dad. I am crazy about snuggles in case you did not notice. I like other dogs, but would be just fine as an only fur kid, as long as I have lots of love and time with you and my favorite stuff to chew on. Oh, yeah, and lots of walks and room to run, run, run, like the wind in dog parks."

Strawberry will need to be spayed. A $50 deposit will be collected and returned to you once the procedure is confirmed to be completed. There is no charge to the adopter, if Strawberry is taken to a GRFR-authorized veterinary hospital.
