Munchkin's Story...

Munchkin - Paws Rescue has a 4 year old male, cream colored Lhasa/Shih tzu up for adoption. He is house-trained, neutered, has had all his shots and is also micro-chipped.

This boy does not shed and requires grooming regularly. He has a very nice coat and does not mat and could actually be kept long if he is brushed a couple times per week. He has some issues with his left eye and will require eye drops for his lifetime.

He is great with other dogs, large and small, and also gets along with cats. He knows how to sit and to sit pretty. He does not like to be caged. He also comes with one month of free pet insurance. There is an adoption application and contract required to adopt this beautiful dog.

Please email the foster parent with any questions on this wonderful little dog. Email palsans_maltese@yahoo.com or call 586-944-6661. Thanks for thinking adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Munchkin, a Brighton Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu for sale in Brighton, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Brighton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brighton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brighton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brighton paves the way for another one to be saved.
