Samantha is a COURTESY LISTING. She is located in Healdsburg, CA.
Samantha is about 4 years old and a very compact 45 lbs. Samantha is all kisses & hugs. She is crate-trained and housetrained, though she may need a refresher course in her new home. She had a tendency to mark the area where her food goes, but since we have been feeding her outside, she hasn't done it since.
This little girl is a survivor of Hurricane Katrina and nothing brings her down! She's always happy to meet and greet new people and loves any chance to get out and stretch her legs on a good hike or jog. Samantha is a very happy-go-lucky dog. She loves people! She loves going for walks and does very well on a leash. She is a great cuddler and a good smoocher.
Though she loves her playmate, Peanut, another Katrina survivor that she arrived with, Samantha would probably be best an an only pet as she does not seem to get along with most other dogs or cats. She is looking for that special someone who is outgoing and is willing to open up their home and heart to a dog that has undergone untold hardships. This little pocket pitty is really a bundle of love and gratefulness. She is so happy to be alive and everything you do for her will be repaid a thousand times in kisses!
