Zeus's Info...

I am already spayed/neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Zeus's Story...

Zeus loves attention and wants to sit near you at all times (or on you if he is allowed) and be petted. He is very much a people’s dog and prefers the company of people to other dogs. He loves having his ears rubbed and cleaned. He likes to sleep on the bed (preferably under the covers) but will go and sleep in the dog bed (which was in our bedroom) when told to get ‘off’ and ‘go to bed’. He loves going for walks and runs. And he likes to be chased when he has a toy. He will fetch balls/Frisbees but is not extremely good at giving them back as he wants you to chase him. He occasionally plays with our other dog but he prefers to play with people. Zeus also loves the crate and will happily go in it. He is currently in St. Louis, MO.  Transportation can be arranged.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a St. Louis Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
