My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ripley is a 3 year old female pit bull with an incredible story of survival. She is covered in puncture scars indicating that she’s been in fights, she’s been over-bred, she’s lived on the streets having to catch her food, and she even survived being hit by a train, thats right not a car but a train! She was able to drag herself to a nearby driveway and fate intervened in that in turned out to be the mother of a vet tech at Penn Animal Hospital. Her injuries were severe and she had to have her left front leg amputated.

The most amazing part of her story is that when we first met her she was recovering from her surgery and the first thing she did was stand right up and wiggled her little bottom right over to us and licked our faces. Ripley loves all people and is great with children. Ripley has Interacted and played with several different dogs but seems to show some ambivalence towards puppies.

She is not to be around cats or other types of small animals because she thinks of them as prey. Ripley although only having three legs is a very strong little girl, she loves to be loved and deserves nothing but the best.

Ripley is up to date on all shots, will be spayed before adoption, and is waiting every day in her foster home hoping to meet you!!

If you are interested in Ripley please read our adoption contract and then fill out our adoption form at www.biggiesbullies.org and if we feel Ripley is the right fit for you we will contact you immediately.
