My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Gypsy. I was born in late October 2011. I am a beautiful girl. I'm brown with white spots. I have an adventurous spirit and outgoing personality. I'm friendly, playful and get along great with other dogs and puppies. I need training to learn all the great things that every dog should know. My breed combo is the Rescue's best guess, but I sure am cute. If you have the time, energy and patience to raise a puppy like me, please apply today. Just prepare to fall in love! Adoption fee: $100. Adopt a pair: $150. Fees include testing, deworming, vaccinations, rabies, microchip and spay.

Apply today or come meet available dogs, cats, puppies and kittens the 4th Sunday of every month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at K9 Cuisine N More, 55220 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd., Shelby Township. Our next event is on Sunday, February 26th. Give a homeless pet the best gift ever - a family to love and a home for life! Enjoy the Scentsy sale too.

Adoption Process:
Complete the application at the link above or send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. This is a pending period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
