My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Freckles is desperately in need of a foster home or adoptive home ASAP. She is a wonderful 18 month old Pit Bull mix that will be losing her current foster home at the end of December. Freckles is a real 'Nanny Dog' as she LOVES kids! She loves a good game of fetch, but is very happy to chill out on the couch as well. She would do well with another dog that shares her love of 'rugby style' play, but she would not do well with a cat in the home. While we are hoping for a forever home for Freckles, a foster home would be great too. Even a temporary foster, until April, would be a huge help. If you would like to meet Freckles and see for yourself what this great girl is all about, please contact Donna Bishop at, 617-825-6867 or donnabishop@comcast.net

For more information you can also contact Donna Bishop at Alliance for Animlas by telephone or e-mail: 617-825-6867, donnabishop@comcast.net. We try very hard to find the perfect match for the cats and dogs in our care as well as the families who seek to adopt a companion.
ALL OF OUR ANIMALS ARE RESCUED FROM MASSACHUSETTS AND HOUSED IN MASSACHUSETTS. WE DO NOT "RESCUE" ANIMALS FROM OUT-OF-STATE- CATS AND DOGS DIE EVERY DAY IN MASSACHUSETTS. THEREFORE, WE SAVE AND ADOPT OUT ONLY LOCAL ANIMALS.
You can visit our animals at any time and as often as you like, PRIOR to adopting. We are always in need of new temporary foster homes for dogs - every foster home means another dog saved. Our adoption process begins with a phone interview and after that we set up a time for potential adopters to come meet the cats or dogs that we think might be a good match.
