Hi, my name is Butterscotch and I am a very handsome boy about 12 months old. I was rescued by a wonderful woman when I was down to my last hours at the pound. She brought me here to Alliance for Animals. I am a very unusual brindle mix; I almost look like a butterscotch brownie. I am a people dog who loves attention and being played with. I especially love children. I will sit by your side and listen to you forever while you talk. I also enjoy watching TV and cuddling. I love to snuggle and give you big kisses. We try very hard to find the perfect match for the cats and dogs in our care with the families who seek to adopt a new pet. ALL OF OUR ANIMALS ARE RESCUED FROM MASSACHUSETTS AND HOUSED IN MASSACHUSETTS. WE DO NOT "RESCUE" ANIMALS FROM OUT-OF-STATE- CATS AND DOGS DIE EVERY DAY IN MASSACHUSETTS. THEREFORE, WE SAVE AND ADOPT OUT ONLY LOCAL ANIMALS. You can visit our animals at any time and as often as you like, PRIOR to adopting. We are always in need of new temporary foster homes for dogs - every foster home means another dog saved. Our adoption process begins with a phone interview and after that we set up a time for potential adopters to come meet the cats or dogs that we think might be a good match.
