Hiya, Im Ziggy & Ive been sprung from the shelter ~ WOO!
I had been in a shelter in Spokane for seven MONTHS and thats a loooong time. You see big black dogs often get passed over, and that makes me sad because Im such a great boy. Folks dont know what theyre missing, but thats all going to change now that Im in a great foster home in Seattle! It was a long wait and I am so happy to be outa there! Watch my video to see what a good boy I am, and how happy I am to be here!
Whats next? A forever home with humans who will love me for the rest of my life... sounds divine, doesnt it? And just maybe, that could be with YOU?
My foster mom says Im gentle and sweet, a happy and mellow boy. Im housebroken, I walk well on a leash, take treats gently and I love my toys. WOW! What more could you ask for? Well... here it is: She also says Im super smart and catch on to things really quickly too! I even already know sit, shake and down!
By now Im sure your hooked, and wondering about my stats: Im 4.5 years old, about 75-80lbs, neutered, and I have the most beautiful black shiny coat you could ever want to pet. I think youll also giggle when you see my cute curly tail. (Tho, Im not sure what breeds Im mixed with that gave me that super fun tail!)
I interact well with other dogs, Im curious when I meet them, polite and easygoing, then Ill go do my own thing. Tho, I dont seem to be much of a player and when Im around pushy excitable dogs that dont respond to my ques ~ well, then I can be a bit grumbly. I like my space kinda chill. When I met a kitty, I was interested, and gave her a sniff, then walked on.

Im ecstatic to be out of the kennel and into a foster home, but what I dream about is finding my forever home. Maybe, just maybe that could be with YOU? Would you be excited to have me join your family?
