My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Optimus Prime - also known as Opty. He's a 4 year old neutered male cat, up to date on vaccinations. His owner passed away about 5 months ago and a friend of the owner took him in. Unfortunately, he's not doing well in a multi-cat household (she has 2 of her own). He's a totally indoor cat and is litterbox trained. He’s a bit on the small side at only about 8 pounds. He has beautiful green eyes and a very pretty face with long white whiskers, and the cutest white paws ever. He’s very shy with new people but once he gets to know you he’ll come out to be scratched and petted—he loves having his head scratched. He doesn’t seem to mind dogs much. May not get along with other male cats all the time, so would probably be best as an only cat or with a female. Opty does well with older children, but not sure how he would be around smaller children. $60 rehome fee. Please contact Positive Alternatives to Shelter Surrender at 225-366-7277.
