My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It’s the holiday season, and it’s time to give Sweetheart a home! She is a 21 year old POA cross mare and about 14 hands tall. Three years ago we rescued her and 63 others ponies from an extreme neglect situation. Many people thought she would not recover, but she was a fighter and would not give up. She has since thrived and is an easy keeper.
Her only Christmas wish is for a loving home to call her own! She would love to make friends with your horses and/or just be a family pet. Santa has marked her down for being nice because she is halter broke, calm, easy to trailer, enjoys being groomed, and she is catchable in her stall or small paddock. Her naughty/work in progress list includes that she is not always good at picking up her feet and needs treats for bribery to catch her in the pasture.
Sweetheart does have an abdominal hernia, but the veterinary surgeon says it is an old injury that does not require surgery or cause her any problems. She is up to date on her shots and Coggins and her adoption fee is $300. Can you make her Christmas wish come true and give her a home?
