My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie was surrendered because her mom enlisted into the army. Dixie is an 8 year old, spayed shih tzu mix. She is calm and potty trained. Does not bark unless someone comes to the door and would be perfect for someone that does not want to go through the puppy stage. Dixie learned the routine at our house within a day. We have had her for a week and she has not had one accident. She loves to be with you but does not NEED to be with you. She is just a pleasure.
Update: Dixie just came back into rescue because she pulls on her leash when she is outside and sees another animal. Inside she is perfect. She will need to be with someone that can help her get over that and not be pulled down when she pulls.
