ADOPTION PENDING!
Duke is house trained, crate trained, walks well on the leash and plays well with other dogs. He is easily trainable and responsive to commands. So if he is that great, why is he looking for a home? The problem is, he knows he is great. As a matter of fact he thinks he is God's gift to the dog world. He will make someone a wonderful pet, but that someone must be capable of asserting his or her authority and establishing the dominant role in Duke's life. Don't tell Duke, but he actually likes having humans that he can depend on. He has responded well to stern voice commands and an occassional squirt from the water bottle. Duke would like a home in New England with a fenced in yard and some other dogs to play with. He will not be placed in a home where there are children. His adoption fee is $225.
